Welcome you all to visit this site of Mahishadal Raj College. Mahishadal Raj College is the second oldest college in the Purba Medinipur District. The College celebrated its “Diamond Jubilee” in the year 2006 and it had been accredited with B grade by NAAC in the year 2007. At present the student strength is more than 3500 and the number of subjects being taught at the undergraduate level is 22. Although Post Graduate (P.G) Courses in different subjects of Science and Arts are running under Distance Education Mode, but from this session (2012-2013) regular P.G Courses in Bengali and Chemistry is going to be started. There are a few market oriented non-traditional courses like Industrial Chemistry (Vocational) that is running successfully over the last few years. Very recently, course like BCA is also being introduced. The college runs in day session.
